The community service and environmental development sector is the only window through which the college overlooks society. It is responsible for introducing the community to the role of the college to identify the real problems of this society in order to find scientific solutions to them, which ultimately leads to the development of society to be able to keep pace with progress.

Goals

1- Access to the college in obtaining the accreditation certificate and ensuring the quality of education

The community service and environmental development sector at the college aims to support the activities of the Quality Assurance Unit by meeting practices that achieve indicators and standards of community participation, development of the administrative apparatus, and security and safety activities that came within the accreditation standards of the Egyptian Authority for Quality Assurance of Education and Accreditation.

2- Educational and social services and research

Participation with governmental and non-governmental local community institutions and aims to prepare and organize study courses and training programs in the field of foreign languages, training in the use of computers, preparing studies, research and information related to popular, historical and geographical heritage, and holding seminars, conferences and exhibitions to serve this purpose.

3- Achieving a link between the college’s education and scientific research activities within the framework of international academic standards and the requirements of the labor market

The college aims to achieve quality in education activities and scientific research paths by resorting to academic standards issued by some educational quality bodies such as the National Authority for Quality Assurance of Education and Accreditation on the one hand and the labor market requirements of new professions and jobs resulting from societal changes and information technology developments. By opening new divisions, departments, and specialized programs.

4- Enhancing and developing workers' skills within the framework of occupational safety and health requirements

In this context, the college aims to work in two tracks, the first of which is to maximize the role and capabilities of the occupational health and safety units; The Crisis and Disaster Unit at the college by training its members on various activities in this field and holding awareness seminars in cooperation with civil society institutions such as the Civil Defense Department - the Dakahlia Traffic Department, neighborhoods and city mayors. It also aims, in the second track, to provide training and seminars for college employees with the aim of human development and improving the environment. Internal work and developing their technology capabilities and compatibility with it and achieving it in reality through practical applications and completing the required documents.
